o help new businesses start up in Cornwall the government has very kindly offer some help. So if you’re starting up or relocating to Cornwall to build your business you have entered what the government would like to call an enterprise zone. Meaning you’ll qualify for enterprise zone relief. You must start up or relocate by March 2018.
Enterprise zone relief allow you to apply for discounts on your business rates. The council works out how the business rate relief is applied. You can get up to 100% business rate relief for 5 years, up to a maximum of £275,000. Contact the enterprise zone area to find out how to apply.
